Answering the call for even greater off-road capability and adventure, Triumph introduces the all-new Scrambler 400 XC. This rugged new addition to the acclaimed 400cc Modern Classic line-up builds on the success of its sibling, the Scrambler 400 X, infusing it with a higher specification and genuine adventure-ready features.

At its heart lies the characterful and responsive TR-series engine. The fuel-injected, 398cc single-cylinder combines Triumph's trademark modern classic style with state-of-the-art engineering to deliver a class-beating 40 PS of power and 37.5 Nm of peak torque. Paired with a slick six-speed gearbox and a torque-assist clutch, this powertrain delivers a flexible, intuitive, and fun ride, underscored by an evocative and distinctive note from the upswept twin-outlet silencer.

Purpose-built for real-world adventure, the Scrambler 400 XC boasts a class-leading specification. The most significant upgrade is its new side-laced spoked wheels, featuring lightweight aluminium rims and tubeless Metzeler Karoo Street tyres. The adventure-focused 19-inch front and 17-inch rear setup not only enhances its off-road readiness but also contributes to an authentic, commanding Scrambler stance.

The chassis is engineered for confidence on any terrain. An extended wheelbase and wide handlebars provide enhanced stability and control, while high-quality suspension, with 43mm big-piston upside-down front forks and a rear piggy-back monoshock, offers an impressive 150mm of travel at both ends. This ensures a smooth and controlled ride over varied surfaces. For superior ergonomics when standing, high-grip foot pegs are positioned for a natural posture.

Modern technology is seamlessly integrated for safety and convenience. Bosch engine management with a ride-by-wire throttle ensures a predictable and linear power delivery. Riders can also count on a dedicated off-road ABS mode and switchable traction control for complete confidence on loose surfaces. Stopping power is assured, thanks to a large 320mm front disc with a 4-piston radial caliper.

With its assertive silhouette and rugged design DNA inherited from the legendary Scrambler 900 and 1200, the XC is ready for any challenge. A colour-coded high-level front mudguard, windscreen, handguards, and an aluminium sump guard provide protection for both rider and machine. The package is completed with premium details like gold-anodised forks, a distinctive DRL headlight, and a dual-format instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer and an integrated LCD screen.
