Triumph Trident 660
The Trident 660 delivers exhilarating triple-cylinder performance, agile handling, and advanced rider-focused technology in a stylish, confidence-inspiring package.
Now updated for 2026, the Triumph Trident 660 represents a major step forward in the middleweight roadster class. Combining the character and flexibility of a triple engine with contemporary, muscular styling and premium detailing, it offers pure riding enjoyment with everyday usability.
Powering the Trident 660 is the latest evolution of Triumph’s 660 cc liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder engine, now producing a class-leading 95 PS at 11,250 rpm and 68 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. With 80% of peak torque available from just 3,000 rpm through to nearly 12,000 rpm, the Trident delivers instant throttle response, strong mid-range drive, and an exhilarating top-end. A higher 12,650 rpm redline, revised cylinder head, larger airbox, and three individual 44mm throttle bodies ensure smooth, linear power delivery that’s both exciting and easy to manage.
The chassis has been refined for 2026 to enhance the Trident’s renowned agility and rider confidence. A revised lightweight tubular steel frame is paired with premium Showa suspension, including 41mm USD big piston forks at the front and a new Showa rear suspension unit with preload and rebound adjustment. The result is sharp, stable handling with excellent comfort on real-world roads. An accessible 810mm seat height, slim standover and a low wet weight of 195kg make the Trident easy to ride for motorcyclists of all experience levels.
Braking performance is strong and predictable, thanks to twin 310mm front discs with Nissin two-piston calipers, a rear 255mm disc, braided brake lines and a span-adjustable brake lever. Lightweight cast aluminium wheels are fitted with Michelin Road 5 tyres, delivering excellent grip and feedback in all weather conditions.
Advanced rider technology comes as standard. Ride-by-wire throttle enables three riding modes – Sport, Road and Rain – optimising throttle response, ABS and traction control settings. A six-axis IMU provides Optimised Cornering ABS and switchable Optimised Cornering Traction Control, enhancing stability and confidence at all lean angles. Triumph Shift Assist allows smooth clutchless up and down gear changes, while cruise control is fitted as standard for added comfort on longer journeys.
Instrumentation is delivered via a clear, easy-to-read TFT and LCD instrument setup. MyTriumph Connectivity is standard, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, phone and music control. Full LED lighting, including the new headlight design with integrated DRL, ensures excellent visibility and a distinctive road presence.
With its muscular new styling, refined chassis, thrilling triple soundtrack and cutting-edge technology, the 2026 Triumph Trident 660 is the ultimate modern roadster – offering accessible performance, premium quality and unmistakable character.
